Hi, I'm Yanellie — I create and share photos and moments through my camera. I started shooting in October 2024, the day my parents bought me my first camera, and I haven't put it down since. I love sports most: capturing the big moments and the emotion of the game (I play softball myself, so I know the feeling from both sides). I started shooting because I was drawn to the challenge and precision it requires. What I love most is the focus and excitement it builds, along with the thrill of hitting a perfect shot.

and I haven’t put it down since.
It started the day my mom bought me my first camera — I’d had the idea for a while, and once I had it in my hands that was it. My first paid shoot was a friend’s basketball game, and it taught me fast: this is about knowing your settings and your editing, not just pointing and hoping.
I’m after the big moments —
and the emotion underneath them.
I love capturing the peak of a game: the catch, the dive, the reaction right after. I play softball myself, so I know what those moments feel like from inside the lines — and I think that’s why I chase them the way I do. Football is what I shoot best; soccer’s the one I want more of.
Canon R6 Mark II (my main) and a Sony a6400, both shooting RAW so there’s room to make every frame right in the edit. One day I want to do more videography, too.
